Sunday, September 26

so we're sitting in church, (me, cara, and lucy) waiting for the service to start, and my sister has go do a favor for the music director, dan. i expect to have her sitting next to me again in just a few short minutes, but alas, when the beginning music is playing, still no megan. i look back and she's standing in front of the choir with this HUGE large print bible, i'm assuming it was. then, after the acolytes walk to the front and light the candles and everything, here comes my sister walking down the aisle, holding this huge bible OVER HER HEAD. even worse, she had to pause up at the front of the church, still holding the the thing over her head, mind you. needless to say, it was a funny morning.

i just got back from cara's where megan and i worked on our project. yes, both of our computers are "to white trash to function" (in her words) so we had to haul it over there. (thank you, schusters --and laura-- for opening your homes, hands, and hearts to us) Our power point is pretty good now, surprisingly.

then i decided to walk over to megan's house with her because i didnt feel like going home yet. so we're walking and talking about lucy... and here she comes rounding the corner with Uli. It's a small neighborhood. So then we spent about 5 minutes in the middle of thier houses deciding which one i was gonna go into. i chose megan's. then lucy calls and tells megan to tell me (because she's a chicken) that she's not going to the fish fry at church tonight. damn her.

So I plan on coming back from the Fish fry and reading Huckleberry Finn and then, when day is done, On Sunday, the day of rest, the day of our Lord, I will crawl in my bed and watch my Gay (and I mean literally, gay) Soap Opera, Queer as Folk. Can I get an Amen??
